I woke up thinking it was Friday. We got through the day with no TV. Josiah played with the peacock while I tried to sneak a wink more of sleep. I don't remember if it worked. But after he played I fed him again and he let me dose for maybe another 40 minutes before he fussed. I gave him his morning cereal (oatmeal) but he only ate maybe half of it. I was able to get the rest of the laundry finished, all your clothes are clean now and I'm going to get them all bagged up and ready to go. I shipped another package, Josiah helped. He coos whenever I'm on the Amazon website for some reason. I can be on another site but as soon as I check the amazon account he's talking away. He really must share your affection for online sales.
He took two afternoon naps. I got a shower!!! When he woke up he played on the infant gym but was making pooties. I checked him on the changing table and he was wet, not poopy. So we were playing while he hung around without a diaper. I had thrown the wet one away and he was holding onto his feet with me...and then it came. A big oozy poopy. So I had to clean that up. I got him into his Walrus outfit. He looked very handsome. Then we danced to the Chipmunks.
He enjoyed that so much I put him in his jumper and he had a blast with that too.
Sorry, my camera has no sound...so you will have to sing or hum "Witch Doctor" while he bounces to get the whole effect. I wondered why he always stares out the doorway. But I figured it out. He gets really distracted by that light in the hallway...he always has to stop to check it out again.
He wore himself out and went down for a third nap while I got things done and made dinner, braised Chicken with onion and dried plums in a white wine sauce with polenta (recipe curtesy of Martha Stewart) It was good but next time I might just make it with rice. Josiah woke up when it was almost finished and Karen fed him dinner. He sat in his highchair playing with toys while we ate ours. Afterwards we let him have tummytime on the floor. These faces are great!
For the rest of the evening it was nothing but BOUNCING...Karen took a video (yay sound!). We were listening to Darryl's new celtic cd. My arms are going to be in great shape.
He jumped in his jumper while I folded laundry in the later evening. I put on one of the kids cds we had bought him from FYE. He must LOVE it! He was so happy. He was so active that he was super tired by the end of it and cried while I got his pjs on. He was so happy to eat a boobie and cosy up. He went down to sleep very easily tonight. What a relief.
Can't imagine what it was that you were doing today. Hope you are happy and adapting well to whatever they're putting you through. I'm keeping myself as busy as possible. I'm more productive than ever. Hope you're dreaming of me and bumpkin.
