February 6th

The bumpkin woke me at quarter to 8 today. I let him play for awhile and then changed a pooey diaper and then he seemed sleepy to me so I put him down and he moaned for a moment but then actually fell fast asleep! I was so happy. He let me sleep until 11 which made me so happy with him. I gave him lots of kisses and fed him. I put him in some overalls and took him downstairs. He kicked around in his bouncer but was very quiet while I ate my breakfast. We went upstairs to play awhile longer and then back down so I could feed him his cereal. He wasn't too interested and fussed after awhile. We hung out with Karen in the kitchen sitting in the window seat. We were talking for a while when I finally noticed that he was just snuggled up to me not even moving around much or pushing himself out of my arms. He was just very content, cosy, and sweet.
It was a nice moment.

He went back down for a nap shortly after and I got a shower and got to relax with a cup of tea. After his nap he played with his octopus and rattle and then I put on his silly time music and put him in the jumper. He played for a long time and I pulled and swung it back and forth in the air and he laughed and giggled! He liked it a lot, but when i tried to get a video of it he just stared at the camera so I gave up.

Then we went on an outing with Karen to walmart in Pittsburgh Mills to get some things we needed. We got plenty of baby food and I'm planning on giving him carrots tomorrow. We met Darryl and ate at EatnPark. Josiah was very well behaved and sat on our laps and played with a napkin and his binky. He rarely takes the binky anymore, but it makes a good toy for him cause he can pick it up or push it around. He also enjoyed banging on the table with his fists. This evening he got a bath and ate every bite of his dinner. He started to get very fussy and I started to lick my lips and pretend I was eating something very yummy. He stopped and got very quiet and stared at me. I continued to do it and give him spoonfuls of food and he didn't make another sound and nicely ate the rest of it, opening his mouth for every new bite and smiling when I told him what a good boy he was. He went down extremely easily again tonight. I need to call it a night as well, just in case tomorrow is not as easy.
Love you.
